Really worried about an upcoming saliva drug test
I'm going through the onboarding process for an internship this summer, and part of it is a saliva drug test. The test, if I'm understanding correctly, will be administered by the HR rep who's doing the onboarding, if I test positive for anything, they'll do a retest on a different day, but they do not send results anywhere (so I'm assuming it's a rapid test or something, higher false positive rate, and they don't do confirmatory GC/MS). I saw that Bupropion can cause false positives, but most of the data is for urine drug tests.
I'm probably worried for no reason, as I only started Wellbutrin XL 150 mg last week, & will have been on it for maybe a month tops when I do the testing, but saliva tests screen for substances in the past 24-48 hrs, so I don't know. Does anyone have any tips, advice, or insights? Thanks!
