Due to a unique work week, I’ll be staying in Ashford working remote until ~2 pm and am looking for mid-May Rainier hike suggestions!

I understand this is very early season and much will be under heavy snow - I’ve been to Rocky Mountain NP in January and the Tetons early season, so I was say I am fairly comfortable hiking in snow, but I’m not particularly technical nor experienced with true mountaineering. I have appropiate snow clothes + microspikes and an axe - no snowshoes, I’ve normally rented, but lmk if they would be a good idea. Any hike suggestions? Particularly ~3-6 hour ones? How is Skyline this time of year? Thanks!
