I purchase a flight from sfo-phx under the Basic Option and decided to pay extra for a seat (1F). At the time of booking it showed I would be in boarding group 1-2. I looked into booking a similar flight and I noticed it doesn’t give boarding group 1-2 anymore when choosing basic + paying extra for a seat.

My question is: will I still be given boarding group 1-2 or am I stuck with boarding last (since I chose basic) but paid for extra in the first aisle?
