Had a crack on some Sam & Max fan art today for the first time

This is my first time doing any big(ish) fan art for any piece of media ever (I'm not an artist at all rn) so feedback would be great. Don't have a drawing tablet so had to do this via laptop touchpad and a mouse which is pain but otherwise drawing this was really fun and I'll likely do more images if I'm less busy. Personally I'm kinda proud of it so I'm curious what you guys think.

Second image is there just to show that I did this legitimately. Done on Paint.NET btw.

Some random thoughts: I'm kinda curious if any of these hypothetical events may change the course of Sam & Max history toward today. Lmk if I may have missed some.

  • Obvious one: what if LucasArts backed down from their decision to depart from adventure games and never cancelled the Freelance Police game? And would Telltale itself ever exist as a result?

  • What if the cartoon series was renewed for more seasons instead of being axed after S1? Seeing as how that's basically the only primarily kids-related media relating to this franchise, I wonder if this may have represented a more drastic demographic shift towards the younger folk (and be one of those franchises that is most fondly remembered as a childhood show, a la old Cartoon Network or Animaniacs)

  • Heck, what if that Plunge Through Space Xbox game wasn't cancelled? Seeing as (according to wikipedia) that game was actually more of a platformer so I'm curious that, if this game was released and did financially well, if we would get other platformer games or even installments having other genres.

  • Finally, what if the original Telltale still exist today? Would we have the opportunity to have more original Sam & Max games? (possibly more akin to MC story mode or Walking Dead)
