There is a MASSIVE under representation of prequel minifigs in Lego Star Wars imo…

Now I only threw 8 together because I didn’t want to go on and on, but I’m sure most of you could create an extensive list of characters we haven’t had, variants we’ve never seen.

Granted, I know we’ve had 3PO and Padme, but there seems to be a real lack of representation of prequel characters & locations to me.

What’s baffling is, you could say it won’t sell. But I think the prequels are pretty appreciated these days, and my son, for example, prefers this era of Star Wars over the sequels, which had extensive coverage. To me personally, people like Padme in her theed battle outfit, or 3PO in his first appearance, or even palaptine in his sidious/yoda duel outfit are way more interesting to own than every single knight of ren. Or all the mandalorian characters they seem to cover. There’s some seriously iconic characters and locations that keep getting overlooked for remake after remake.

Do you guys think we’ll ever get characters like this? Or is this theme doomed to repeat the same formula time and time again 🤔

It’s always bothered me.

I know people may come to defend Ahsoka and I just want to point out, I like her too. But I feel this moment in the clone wars was another attempt at Dave filoni forcing Ahsoka into every single narrative he could think of.

Her sensing anakin’s moment during ROTS made little sense. Ahsoka wasn’t exactly an experienced force wielder at this point. She may have abilities, but even the Jedi masters of the order didn’t sense anything, except Yoda… because he’s one of the most powerful force users during the prequel era. Even obi wan didn’t sense anakin’s switch. None of the Jedi in the temple did. None of them out on the battlefield didn’t seem to detect anything.

So why Ahsoka? It could be argued she was super super close to him. But then… why didn’t obi wan sense anything? Surely someone who was massively in touch with the force and fuelled with a brother like bond with anakin would have sensed it?

It’s pretty obvious George Lucas intended in Yoda being the only one because as I said, Yoda was the strongest force users at this point and likely sensed the literal shift in the force at that time. He only reacted when anakin officially became ‘Darth Vader’. It just seems crazy that Ahsoka detected not just anakin’s turn, but the whole freaking dialogue between palpatine and windu as well?

Now unless someone can make sense of it all? But for me it just seemed ridiculous for a (former) padawan to have this insight, when Jedi’s all over the galaxy were blissfully unaware.
