Torn which Univ to go…

Hi! 👋🏻 I’m gonna post this here because I’m really torn on which university to go to. I’ve already applied to UST and I’m currently waiting for the results, and at the same time I’m in the process of submitting my other college applications. My priority schools are** UST, Adamson, Colegio de San Juan de Letran, and Mapúa**, and I honestly don’t know where to enroll if I pass. My course choices have always been*** Marketing Managemen*t (mas nagugustuhan na lowkey),* Architectur*e (childhood dream, mejo nawawala na spark tas katatut masayang tuition kung ayoko naman na pala talga), and* BA Psycholog***y (oks lang gusto rin)

UST is a priority kasi UST na ‘yan hahahaha. My sister studies there, and our condo is just a walking distance from the school, so my parents really want me to go there. But I’m really scared because I know the academic system there is very draining compared to others. I know all schools are competitive, but UST just feels like another level. At the same time, I really love the events and org culture there since I’ve always been an org girlie since high school. Events are where I thrive. They matter a lot to me since they were a big part of why I enjoyed high school kahit nakakapagod (bida-bidahan kaya mag mamarketing eme)

Adamson is also a good choice. Tambay nako sa Reddit, and a lot of people recommend AdU, especially compared to UST threads where ang daming nagsasabi ng “run” lol. The culture is what really pulls me in because people say the environment is more welcoming. As an introvert, biggest fear ko talaga mapunta sa section na walang pake makipagkilala, (like ust daw??) even if I get loud once I’m comfortable. So the culture in AdU is really appealing. However, I also hear that the events are just so-so, and I’ve seen people say that Architecture there isn’t that recommendable. But the academic-wise maganda raw dito.

For Letran, I don’t know much, but like AdU, I’ve been hearing good comments and recommendations. The only problem is the tuition is almost the same as UST, but people say it’s not as active, so sinasabi nila na mag UST na lang ako. At the same time, I feel like the vibe there might be lighter, I’m just not sure.

Mapúa

I’m also considering Mapúa, especially for Architecture, but I know it’s known for being very rigorous (quarterm system 😭), so I’m also intimidated.

Please help me decide. If ever I pass all of these schools, where do you think I should go?
