Hey guys I’m new to this, i have been searching around some reserves and bushy areas i live by in West Auckland, specifically by a waterfall but have not had any luck. Came down to Tauranga for the weekend and hit gold basically immediately 😭

I’m aware of the ground texture and humidity I should be looking for but I’m curious if I’m just looking in bad areas? Or maybe I’m just looking around too late in the day (ranges between 8:30am and 1pm) and they’ve all been found already? any advice or help would be appreciated!
