I’m now past middle age and at least once a month I think about the scene where Buffy and Riley are gonna have sex for the first time and he takes off her boots and she’s not wearing socks! At the time as a young person navigating boot fashion and a budding sex life, removing boots “in a sexy way” was always a conundrum because, well, socks.

It doesn’t seem likely that Buffy was kicking ass with no socks on inside her boots!
