Do you want to have a conversation? Let's have a conversation, by all means. Let's meet each other eye to eye and exchange ideas; have a real dialogue; have open minds. Let's talk about the nature of God and learn from each other without attachment to outcome.
It's so easy to jot down your beliefs onto a little pamphlet and throw them at people. They will only end up littering the concrete to be stepped on, as I saw so clearly today at the farmer's market. It is much more challenging to bring your worldview into conversation with people and to do so in a non-intrusive and non-dogmatic fashion.
I have not much else to say on the subject other than to give my own perspective as a Hindu:
Someone will come before God when they feel the pull of devotion; that is the nature of faith. You cannot simply take for granted a deeply personal devotional practice like Christianity, wrap it in dogma, slap some arrogant metaphysical assertions on top, and expect people to be happy that you gifted them a hollow box.
What I mean to say is that so many Christians hand out stuff like this without any regard for alternative worldviews. Pamphlets like this only serve to say "My worldview is incontrovertibly true and yours is ignorant, misguided, and not up for debate." It's just incredibly condescending, inconsiderate, and disrespectful.
You're entitled to your beliefs as a Christian. There is nothing wrong with believing in Christ. As a Hindu, I think the historical Jesus, whoever he may have been, was an excellent teacher. But please do not disregard or demean others and claim to do it out of love, because you aren't. You're doing it to corroborate your own convictions.
That is all.
