Vilification of Billionaires

So I have been thinking about his statement on naming billionaires.
- On the flip side, how thin skinned is Ken Griffin to get annoyed by Mamdani just mentioning his name? Everybody knows who owns the penthouse?
- Saw this op-ed by Howard Schultz about something similar in WA, complaining about same thing.

I feel we used to treat these people as heroes while we celebrated them, not too long ago and now suddenly they are complaining about the same thing once everyone has realized that they haven't paid their fair share? Would love an honest discussion about it.

Rant - Fruit Company

Sorry for the rant but I needed an outlet. (Tried journaling too). It was my first time interviewing with a FAANG+ in over 15 yrs of career.

Applied at Apple in January for a very good fit role in a niche area (non eng). Never spoke with recruiter & kicked off the process in Feb with hiring manager and finished with the loop (including director) by end of March. All of the interviews went well.
And as with most of y’alls exp, radio silence since then despite follow ups.

I have moved on but amazed how a $4T company treats people. I have sympathy for recruiters because they are probably swamped & I have interviewed alot & I always make sure I provide valuable feedback to final candidates. Don’t expect a feedback but ghosting?

Maybe I am being naive. I don’t think the scales will ever tip in favor of labor market again so can’t even hope for better times.
