I am 16 years old M turning 17 in July, yesterday evening my mom gave me an ultimatum. I either A work at Walmart (which is walking distance from the house) for the summer or B take a 400 dollar monthly allowance (which starts in July). Although it may seem like the allowance is a good choice I am nervous about taking it and feel as if I could make more money at Walmart, I also tried to restructure the deal with my mom to see if I can work beyond the summer doing part time but she said no. I feel like I’m in a tough spot and I need guidance on what to do. My end goal with either path is to either buy a used car or start up a e-commerce business, any advice would be appreciated.
