Weird posture and limping

Hello, my duck has had this weird walking posture for some time. A little backstory: She got bumblefoot and when at the vet she got antibiotic shots... and after the 4th shot she started limping. She didn't stop for over 2 months, so I took her to a vet that knows ducks better than the previous one. They took X-rays and checked if it was swollen. They gave me painkillers to give her every 12 hours for a week. No improvement. In the end they concluded that she got used to walking like this and that there is no cure. She is a healthy duck — cleans herself, preens, and is actively laying eggs. I tried duck shoes with a flat bottom, as she looks like she's walking on her toes. That was a waste of time as she walked even worse and managed to slip them off all the time. Any ideas on how I should tackle this? She's a healthy duck in a good environment and I just can't stand watching her walk like this. She doesn't walk around much and struggles to follow the other duck — sits a lot and loves to be in the water most of the time. It's been 6 months since.
