Hi everyone,

I’m looking for a reliable shop to replace the screen and battery on my Apple Watch. My AppleCare has expired, so I'm looking for a solid independent alternative in Cardiff, the Valleys, or even over toward Swansea.

I’ve already checked Timpson, but they quoted £110 for the screen alone, which felt a bit steep.

Does anyone have personal experience with local repair shops? I'd love to know:

• Approximate pricing if you’ve had it done recently.

• The turnaround time.

• Whether they managed to keep the water resistance intact!
