Hello everyone. Owner of a MY2020 XC60 T8 Plugin Hybrid. After 6 years and 77.000 km, I got a dead cell in the hybrid battery and need a battery replacement. I always thought that the hybrid battery was covered for 8 years /160.000km under warranty. That's what I remember from when I bought the car. Turns out it's only for 5 years /100.000km. I also checked Volvo's own website where it states 8y/160.000km.

Long story short I am thinking of taking legal action against Volvo Greece (who sets the warranty limits in my country) since I am almost sure that the warranty is for 8y/160.000km elsewhere in the EU.

Anyone with a MY2020 PHEV (especially XC60 is even better) that can check their service booklets and see what the hybrid battery warranty period is would be of great help. Especially if you are located in the EU.
