Did I do Lord Quas Justice?

I just bought an SP404 MK2 a couple days ago to start sampling and making beats. Please let me know how you think I did on one of my first remixes!

Obviously the mixing is kinda trash, but I’m just tryna hone in on my sound and sample selection before I worry about any of that.

Just bought a MK2. How do I make odd-bar/non-standard measure loops?

Hi, I just purchased my MK2 and I'm struggling to figure out how to adjust the measures to anything other than 1, 2, 4, 8, 16, 32, and infinity in the resample screen.

I want to make a 6-bar loop for example. I've tried recording my 6 bars into an 8-bar loop and then simply trimming off the excess 2 measures. However, it's impossible to get that trimmed to a perfect 6-bar loop. I'm basically just cross-checking different acapellas at the same bpm as my 6-bar loops and adjusting the trim until it lines up. Obviously one could use trial and error until it comes out, but it's tedious AF and far from efficient.

I like to use the resampling workflow rather than the pattern sequencer. However, I haven't touched the pattern sequencer much, and I presume there may be a way to do it through there. If anyone has some ideas or if I'm missing something crucial, please let me know.

Thanks!

p.s. I just posted my first beat/remix on my channel linked in my Reddit bio. I'd appreciate any tips or feedback on how you think I'm doing.
