RT-130 vs CalFire 1-C
I had a really great interview with an agency and I’ll be scheduled to take my RT-130 soon.
But, I also took a two week long 1-C training thru CalFire back in mid February and I was wondering if it is basically the same thing?
When I looked it up I recognized a lot of the subjects and it would be really nice to not have to take the same course 2 months later since I’d be driving out of state to it.
I would’ve brought it up with the interviewer but I don’t have the certification on hand because I’m still waiting for it to come in the mail. I would’ve thought they would have sent a PDF version but I guess CalFire wanted to get fancy with it and mail a physical copy.
Edit: it was a two week long training, one of the weeks was actual classroom and the other was hands on.
