Kindergarten Options

I am a parent of a five year old who is currently reading at the second grade level. She's advanced in a lot of ways. I don't think she's a prodigy or anything but we've just exposed her to a lot at an early age and she's been interested/curious enough to learn. We applied to all the G&T schools in hopes that she'd not be stuck learning letter sounds in kindergarten and although her teacher wrote her the recommendation, our lottery number was awful so we didn't get into any specialized programs (G&T, Dual Language). Several of her classmates are headed to G&T and aren't reading yet. We're also not high on any of the waitlists for any programs we're interested in. We went to all the open houses, did all of our homework on program options and now are stuck at a school where there is little enrichment, little differentiation and are feeling pretty dejected. Any advice from parents who are in/have been in a similar situation?
