Graduation Trip Itinerary Questions
Hello, I'm taking my son to NYC for a graduation trip: 5 days in the beginning of June. Here is our itinerary:
Day 1-no plans yet
Day 2-Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island Tour
Day 3-911 Museum
Day 4-Intrepid Museum
Day 5-Natural History Museum
I want to also do the NYC Revolutionary Trail, maybe on Day 1 or maybe in the afternoon on day 2 or 3 since we'll already be by Battery Park.
My son is a big fan of history, science, and transportation. My questions are these:
Out of The New York Historical, The Museum of the City of New York, and the Tenement Museum, which would you pick if you could only do one?
Apart from the Revolutionary War trail, what do you consider some must-see historical sites?
Apart from the subway, busses, and Roosevelt Island Tramway, is there any other interesting transportation I should be looking at? Like a ferry you think is especially cool or maybe a bridge that is nice to walk over?
Any smaller activities that would fit in after our main activities for each day?
Any other advice, especially relating to my son's interests in history, science, and transportation, or anything else you think seems relevant?
Thanks in advance! I really appreciate your help.
