Quack grass treatment (Eastern PA)

Long story short, my front yard was in rough shape and it’s taken a lot of work to get it back to where it is now, only to end up dealing with a quackgrass takeover.

From everything I’ve read, getting rid of it is a pretty tedious process that usually involves carefully applying glyphosate to individual blades. Because of that, I reached out to a local lawn care company to get their opinion. They told me they handle this kind of issue often and typically use a blanket treatment for “grassy weeds” across the affected area, though it can take 2–3 applications.

In hindsight, I probably should’ve asked if their approach guarantees eliminating the quackgrass. They already came out and did the first treatment yesterday, but it almost sounds too good to be true. Then again, maybe I just went too far down the rabbit hole reading about quackgrass online.

Anyone deal with this in the past? Any success?
