looking to work with an editor/retention specialist
I run a growing, search-optimized travel and food channel focused on budget travel, London-based experiences, and airplane/hotel reviews. Over the past year, I have built a strong production foundation: 55 consecutive weekly uploads.
The channel currently generates a reliable, passive baseline of 40–80 views per day long form views a day (over 31,000 lifetime views long form views), primarily driven by high-intent YouTube search traffic and suggested videos. I have a 12-video backlog (including raw footage for another 24 videos).
The Challenge: While my search traffic is reliable, my Average Percentage Viewed (APV) typically sits between 20% and 33% (approx. 2 to 5 minutes on 10–15 minute videos). My current bottleneck is holding viewer attention in the first 60 seconds and maximizing my impressions click-through rate (CTR). My ultimate goal is to optimize my packaging and retention strategy to break through the 4,000 watch-hour monetization milestone.
