Switching from Sahulat account to Finqalab – need guidance
Hey guys,
I currently have a Sahulat brokerage account with a local broker, and honestly the experience has been pretty bad. No proper app, and I literally have to call them every time I want to place a trade… which is just not it.
I want to switch to Finqalab so I can actually manage everything myself through the app.
Here’s the issue:
- I downloaded the Finqalab app
- It won’t let me open a Sahulat account because I already have one
- It also won’t let me open a normal account because I already have a Sahulat account
I’ve already emailed and called my broker to close my Sahulat account, currently waiting on that.
A few questions for anyone who’s been through this:
Once my Sahulat account is closed, how long does it take to open a Finqalab account?
Is there anything specific I need before applying (documents, income proof, etc.)?
Should I go for a normal account directly instead of Sahulat?
Would really appreciate any help or personal experiences — this whole process is way more confusing than it should be.
Thanks!
