We’ve only just beguuuun! I finally watched the Director’s Cut for the first time with this new 4k transfer and that ending switch-up was wild—having him actually not escape the room is such a dark twist. The moment where the hotel manager hears the daughter’s voice on the tape after his wife refuses his belongings still leaves you with that perfect moment just like the original ending, the ghost in the back is just a little cheesy imo though. This 4k transfer is absolutely beautiful and I’m a big fan of the artwork. Film really holds up!
