How do you find a trustworthy HVAC company for boiler replacement in RI?

I’m local to Rhode Island and have been spending some time learning about boiler/furnace replacements (helping with a small side project), and I keep running into the same issue — it’s actually pretty hard to tell which HVAC companies are solid vs just good at marketing.

For those who’ve had a boiler or furnace replaced locally — how did you choose who to go with?

Was it referrals, reviews, price comparisons, or something else?

Just trying to get a better sense of what actually matters when picking a company around here.

Trying to find a solid local HVAC company for install work

Hey — I’m based in RI and run a small local website focused on boiler and furnace replacements.

I’m in the process of building it out and starting to get some early homeowner interest around installs (not repair calls), and I’d rather connect with one solid local company ahead of time instead of sending people all over the place.

I’m not an HVAC contractor — just trying to connect homeowners with someone reliable — so ideally looking to build a real relationship with a smaller company that actually wants more install work long-term.

If you own a company or know someone good locally, feel free to comment or message me.
