Polar H10 calories burned variables/accuracy
Hey all, I am curious about how to get an accurate reading for my polar h10 calorie estimates. I’m not using these calories to determine how much I eat, but I want to have a decent idea of how much I’m burning in my workouts.
My last 2 boxing workouts had me burning 800-1100 calories which seems high? I am very overweight so I don’t know.
I am 5’9”, 250 pounds, I set my max heart rate to 220 because I reached 210 in this workout and I didn’t reach my max effort level.
Other than doing a full stress test workout to get a more accurate max heart rate, are there any other variables I can set in the app to get a good estimate here? And is there a way for me to tell what % of these calories burned are just my BMR during that period? Thank you!
