What would you do in my situation?
Hey everyone, my wife and I are both getting into eMTBs and are trying to nail down our first purchase. We're based in Lake Tahoe, ride the local trails regularly, and plan to hit Northstar more in the coming years, so we're looking for capable, trail-ready bikes.
We had ourselves on an order list at a local shop for two Amflow PX/PR Carbons, but with Specialized's recent price drops and a 10% local discount, we're now seriously considering a Levo 4 Expert for me and a Levo 4 Comp Alloy for my wife, coming in around $14k for the pair.
I know Specialized gets mixed receptions, but at this new price point with a local discount it feels hard to ignore.
So, would you pull the trigger on the Specialized combo, or hold out for the Amflow (or something else entirely)? Budget is around $15k for two bikes.
