Hello! I'm just starting my Nei Gong practice as about a month ago. Been focusing mostly on building the lower dantian through silent meditation and some body opening exercises. Today I was following some additional more stereotypical qi building exercises that were prescribed to me by a decently renowned teacher. When I do them, even after I stop, it feels as though there is a LOT of residual qi circulating in the body and it all goes to my head and my head gets really hot. I was reading about how to sink qi down to the feet or lower dan tian. I tried some of these sinking qi exercises, granted I'm new to them and perhaps not giving enough time or doing them slightly improperly, but whenever I finish a sinking exercise it always tends to "bounce" back up to my head rather quickly the moment I take my attention off it. Any tips?
