Hello! Have been reading through this forum but just cannot for the life of me figure out what's the best move. I have a dog who sheds a lot and whose hair is like daggers - extremely difficult to thoroughly vacuum out. Floors are hardwood with lots of (no/low pile) handwoven rugs. Hoping to keep it under $500, but ideally in the 300-400 range. I presume buying secondhand is not wise? Wish I could afford a Miele or Sebo, but alas.
