My grandmother gave this to me and has had it for she says 40 years. Who/what company made it? And how much could it be worth. I'm definitely not selling it but I'm curious
To start college! I'm gonna get some cheap but important classes out of the way at Wiregrass then get a degree in biology at VSU. Them I'm going to start a 4 years speciality college fmto become a veterinarian. I'm about to turn 26. It's never to late!
I didn't think I'd ever go to college. I've wanted to be a vet since I was 6 years old. But I'm scared. I'm 25 and I probably won't be able to start till I'm almost 26. I barely graduated high school. Not cause I couldn't but I just didn't care at the time. Now I want to do this but there's so many things about college I don't understand. How do loans and grants work? School can cost 300k + do loans even go that high? I know I need to get an under grad which is 4 years but I'm seeing where some people did 3 years applied for vet school and got in? What if I don't get accepted? I'm amazing with science and biology. Terrible at math lol. What do I need to do I have no idea and I'm very lost in this whole process and I don't even know where to start. I'm moving home beginning to June. I don't think I'll be able to start until next year tho because i need time to find a job and figure out loans and what all i need to do. Can someone try and explain all this in a way that easy to understand?
I really had no idea where to post this I hope it's allowed but it's such amazing news I wanted to share it somewhere before I explode. I live in Ohio currently but all my family lives in south Georgia. I've been toying with the idea to move back home but nothing ever concrete. Yesterday it was just kinda decided between my husband and I to move back. Just randomly on the way to work at 7am lol. So I let my uncle know cause he and my grandmother and my cousins are the only ones down there. I spent all day yesterday super excited but nervous. I have no idea how job hunting will go down there but my husband's parents have a spare room and they realllllllllly want him back down there.
For context we are 24 and 25 years old lol so she misses her kid. Anyways I get home last night and my uncle called me. Asked me if I wanted to rent my grandmother's 2 bedroom house from him for 1k a month. 140 dollars more than I pay for my 2 bedroom apartment in Ohio.
Its got a new water heater and dishwasher, recently redone bathroom, new fridge and a fenced in backyard. All I'll need to buy is a washer and dryer. The house will need a little work. Sand down the floors and staine them mainly and paint the rooms. A gooood solid cleaning. My grandmother moved in with my uncle about a year ago because she fell twice so they have been working on cleaning the house out so now we can help.
I'm so excited. I mean I'm 24 and the world is pretty bleak. I didn't think I'd ever have a house much less the house I grew up in and always wanted. I know I'm not a home owner but I basically will be. I'm gonna do all the work and clean and pay all the bills. And every cent of rent I pay will go straight to a fund to pay for my grandmother's eventual hospice care which I love more than anything.
This is tito. He's at least 10 years old but of course I didn't get him as a hatchling so I'm not sure. He lives in a huge 8 foot by 4 foot enclosure I made. He's friendly and loves going outside. He's healthy and has never hibernated. He absloutely loves dandelions and all the other healthy foods he's supposed to eat. Will not eat tortoise pellets. Romain lettuce will usually get him muching then you can feed him whatever. I have to move back home to Georgia and I cannot take my sweet guy with me. Is anyone interested in adopting?
