Actual Differences between LCMS, ELCA and WELS

I’m no theologian, far from it. For years I’ve heard these 3 branches of Lutheranism in the US thrown around. I never have understood the differences.

I know ELCA is the most Liberal. They allow women to be pastors and tend to be more liberal when it comes to cultural issues. That’s all I know.

I know LCMS. Is more Conservative and doesn’t allow women pastors. Communion where they have to get permission.

I know WELS is the most conservative not allowing women to do anything in the church.

The things I know are rather superficial. I’m curious about other differences.

This is not attending to be a bash session. More to get a better understanding.

Harrison Ford and No Oscar!!!

I don’t understand how Harrison Ford who has been the most successful actor in the last 50 years has only one Oscars nomination. He should have at least two. He should have one for Indiana Jones. One for Witness. Also if you aren’t going to give him a competitive Oscar, tell me why he has never even gotten a honorary one. Tom Cruise has one, Angela Basset has one (she should have won for Black Panther that’s my take).
I don’t understand why he doesn’t have one, even an honorary one. If he was at his height of popularity in the 1960s or even 2000s he would have had one.

I realize we know some time frames. Like the Matthews’ and Jade have just been a few months.

Victor decades. Fatima about a year. Boyd and Ellis a couple of years. The bus people a month.

What about the others? I’m really curious.
