So after about a week my first period started. I have had two days of no bleeding or spotting since. The pic is my period tracker. Cramps have been more intense (I literally thought I had a kidney stone). My OBGYN insists it is normal for this to occur.
I am anemic and extremely tired all the time. My IUD isn’t for birth control but rather treatment for perimenopause since HRT isn’t an option (PCOS).
Since I don’t trust my doctor to be honest or to care, I am asking the community… is this expected to occur during the initial months after insertion?
