hi! my boy is getting neutered this summer (he'll be around 10-11mo by then). he is truly the sweetest boy ever. he's never displayed any signs of aggression or fear of anything. i keep reading things about how after getting neutered some dogs become aggressive due to fear since there's a drop in testosterone. i guess i'm just wondering if anyone has experienced this or have positive neuter stories. i want him to stay sweet forever!! he's a wheaten terrier and every time he gets groomed / meets new people they're shocked at how sweet he is because apparently wheaties can be mean ? idk, just want to keep my boy friendly & sweet!!

edit : just to let everyone know.. he WILL be getting neutered!! him not getting neutered is not a possibility. i'm just asking to see what everyone's experiences are because i'm nervous lol. he's my first dog that i've owned myself. all other dogs i've had have been family dogs so i never had to deal with any of this stuff because it was dealt with by my parents.

random question but i just dropped my boy off at the groomers and they asked if i'd ever do the standard wheaten cut. he usually gets cut to look like a teddy bear and i think he looks super cute like that and i never really considered the thought of him getting the standard cut. i just don't think it looks the cutest :,) but she said all the wheatens in my area get those standard cuts and now i'm wondering if i should at least try it on my boy ?
