My first Strandberg. I have 25 guitars of other standard varieties & one Ormsby 7 multi scale. Borrowed a friends Strandberg multi scale, original 7 string anniversary edition with added fluence pups, for a month. Couldn't put it down. Purchased the Per Nilsson NX7. Had the guitar for a few days and realized the action needed lowering compared to my friend's guitar that was professionally set up. The action was lowered from .65 to .45 on the treble side. Perfect clarity, no buzz and incredibly addicting to play. It's a super fast shredder. I can't say enough about the Lundgren pups. For you metal players, the medium output signature pups are perfect when paired with a high gain amp. I've got two high gain Engls, a Marshall and a Kemper. The Lundgren pickups sound incredible with those amps. The guitar is chimey and resonant, unlike any other guitar that I own. Oh and it's a B-stock from Strandberg reverb store. The only fault I could find is the bridge pickup cavity is a little tight. When raising or lowering, the wood grabs the coil tape of the pickup winding and kind of wrinkles it. Moved it once, don't need to move it again. Other than that, the guitar is flawless for a B-stock. Super Happy. I haven't thought about playing the other 26 guitars since I started playing a Strandberg.
