A small rant about difficulty in normal mode

I played this game a few years ago on casual mode and wanted to try my hand at normal mode because I don't actually hate difficulty in Pokémon. The first few chapters were honestly fun, I needed to learn how to manipulate what the AI does and play around it, but every major boss fight felt satisfying to solve.

Starting with the Terajuma area, that changed for me. It's not really the boss fight themselves - I still have fun solving them - it's *how many there are.* Creating a whole new team for Valarie, then Crawli a whole chapter later is one thing. In chapter 7, I had to give up on making entirely new teams for Rift Chandelure and Solrock x Lunatone because my head was already full with making entirely new teams for Tapu Koko+Charizard, then boss Volcarona, then Angie herself back to back to back. Then chapter 8 starts and I need to make *another* new team for Groudon, and *another* new team for Crawli again, this time literally back to back. There is one single new trainer battle between those two.

Crawli 2 is the final straw for me. We already beat him, so I'm not sure why they want me to fight him again, and we already had 4 boss fights in a row, so I'm not sure why they needed even more. I'm tired of half of my playtime being training up new teams, then training up even more teams 5 seconds later. It's not fun. Is there any way around this, or should I just go down to casual and breeze through the game?
