Looking for games like Inside. But not because of puzzles and mechanics but atmosphere and surreal philosophy.
Inside is my favourite game of all time. It's the game i've finished most times, it hits every spot for me. I may be a person of aesthetics first, the colors, sound and whole design of the game is just perfect. But the braintickle of the puzzles and a mature, kinda philosophical not overexplaining style also really fits my taste. It at least FEELS deep, dark and beautiful.
I kinda liked The Swapper aswell, but it got too descriptive.
I dont like the little nightmares series, which is mostly recommended when Inside is compared.. the design and style is also too on the nose about the horror themes.
Yes i've played Limbo..
And maybe closest i've ever felt actually was The Witness or Talos Principle, because these also raised a certain "feeling" in me..
I know this all sounds too vague and pretentious, but I hope someone maybe catches my taste and can suggest something :) thanks!
