Comment under a video of a woman screaming bc she's scared of a cockroach.
I saw such reaction from men to female scream in scary situations multiple times. I find it misogynistic, because it's a result of patriarchal stereotype about women being annoying, and also, useless. Men find our anatomy (I saw a man being angry bc their wife needed to pee when they were out) and psyche (which is not so different from theirs, but women tend to show their emotions more) annoying. Result of this is women who are scared of being humans.
Men who are annoyed by us probably think that they're so tough, "screaming won't help anything", but it's only until something like that happens to them.
