Hello, im 23 . Had my vitrectomy 5 days ago and freaking out over rapid flickeeing in my operated eye . Is this normal, this is traumatizing

Hello, 23 F i have a big surgery coming up next week and im so scared of the procedure. First we thought the anesthesia was going to be local but my doctor said im too young for that abd i need general one. How does it feel? Is it possible that i wake up mod surgery ? What do i feel after? ... this is all traumatizing to me because I never broke a bone and now im on the verge of a mental psychosis Please help
