Rare Japan-exclusive Nintendo hotel/kiosk hardware for serious collectors.

Purchased directly from a former hotel property in Japan where the unit was originally installed.

Rare Nintendo FamicomBox hotel unit from Japan, including the complete 15-game cartridge set, 2 controllers, and Nintendo zapper.

No keys are included. Replacement keys are available from other sellers online. A digital copy of the service/user documentation will be provided.

Condition

The unit powers on successfully and the front indicator lights cycle correctly during startup. Full gameplay testing has not been performed because I do not currently have a compatible display connection available.

Please review all photos carefully for cosmetic condition and signs of age/use consistent with vintage hotel hardware.

Important Compatibility Information

This system is designed specifically for FamicomBox cartridges and is not intended for use with standard NES/Famicom cartridges without modification.

This is a Japanese 120V unit. Buyers in 220–240V countries will require a step-down transformer.

PLEASE READ: Condition: "AS IS. UNTESTED". I plugged the unit and it turns ON and the light turns ON in sequence. I have not been able to test on a TV as the only available TVs I had were HDMI only. I believe it should work, it was inside the hotel in the TV furniture when I bought it. Does not come with keys or manual. Keys can be bought from other sellers on ebay. Digital manual is provided.

Disclaimer: This unit is made for Japan, so it’s designed for 120Volts. If you’re in a country which uses 240V (like Australia or France), you will need a stepdown converter from 240V to 120V, otherwise you’ll destroy the power unit. As per the technical documentation, a FAMICOMBOX is not compatible with regular NES / FAMICOM games, unless modified. If you insert a regular NES / FAMICOM game into the unit, it is going to short 5v to GND.
