[Dragon Shield Sleeves] May be common knowledge, but new to TCGs
For two sets, I was only playing blue/yellow, so I thought it would be smart to buy multiple boxes of one or two colors for my card sleeves so I could easily swap cards around all of the different decks I had built. I chose DS Midnight Blue and Orchid.
When playing, I always fan my hand and place it face down on my mat so my opponent never has to ask me how many cards I have in my hand. During a match, after placing my hand down, it looked like I had two different types of sleeves. One was very obviously more textured than the other. I started fanning out my deck, and the entire deck was mixed with these two different sleeves.
When I got home, I double checked the boxes to make sure they were the same exact sleeve (matte vs. dual matte, for example). They were exactly the same. I thought it would be a one-off thing, but I just noticed the same issue with a second color (before it was Orchid, now Midnight Blue).
Has anyone else experienced this issue? I know that it's hard to tell the difference in the photos, but it's very obvious in person when fanning out a deck with a mix of the sleeves. It's obviously variation between two different boxes, but how normal/acceptable is this? I don't want it to look like I have marked cards or something. TIA!
