Question about Hatchet Man (1978)

Reading through the classic Moon Knight omni and the story introducing Hatchet Man was really interesting to me, but seemed to randomly take a left turn in the second issue. Did they at any point establish he was Marc's brother before the random cowboy flashback? This really throws the Italy story out of line for me, because Marc went from hunting a man who betrayed his country and Marc for three days, only to ultimately throw a gernade at him and put him in critical condition, to... wordlessly hunting and blowing up his brother?... If they grew up together why wouldn't there be any exchange about the betrayal, why wouldn't Rand tip Marc off and try to get him in?

Why did Marc initially introduce Rand like some guy he worked with once and not his literal brother and childhood companion? It comes out of nowhere and really threw off the tone of the story... Did another writer take over and not realize? Did they run out of ideas halfway through? I genuinely do not understand why this came out of left field and changed up the story I was enjoying so much.

I have never been able to get over MCU Moon Knight being the same plot as this episode of American Dad...

My friend and I started sending cards to each other by mail, she wants every Growlithe, I want every Spinarak! That being said, one of us has a *far* shorter list than the other. Is there anywhere I can find out if my boy appears on other cards other than his (and the little picture in the top of Ariados cards.) He's not the most popular, but he's still my favorite! I don't know much about serious collecting, so I appreciate the help!

Since each episode is less than 5-10 minutes, with 2 being dedicated to theme and credits, it seems like something that someone should have done by now. My wife and I enjoy the show, but it's hard to binge...
