Did an oil change (2.5k miles, 6 month interval) on my 2000 Jeep Grand Cherokee with the 4.0 I6. Noticed that after a while of sitting in the garage, the spent oil separated and what appears to be water is sitting in the bottom of one of the jugs of oil.
Engine has had its head replaced to a TUPY head (common problem with the 2000s Jeep 4.0s was a cracked head causing coolant leaks into oil). I don't have any noticeable loss of coolant. Coolant and oil never show any signs of interacting with each other (no milkshake on oil cap). Mostly short drives in the city. I did replace CCV valves recently.
Could short city driving cause a buildup of moisture in the oil or am I looking at a possible coolant leak into the crankcase?
