I've made this YAG flat back earrings that glow under a blacklight would these be a stylish accessory suitable for wearing to a rave?

I’ve recently become fascinated by a type of synthetic gemstone YAG and LuAG. Under UV light, they emit a dazzling fluorescence, typically appearing in shades of green and yellow-green. Previously, this material was used primarily in industrial scintillators; however, I recently experimented with crafting it into stud earrings, and I was absolutely blown away by the result. A friend suggested I come to r/aves to get your take: do you think these would make for a stylish accessory suitable for wearing to rave parties?

Do you think lab-grown YAG flat back earrings are a good idea?

I handcrafted this pair of flat back stud earrings using YAG and titanium alloy. YAG (Yttrium Aluminum Garnet) is a synthetic material originally developed as an industrial scintillator; when exposed to blue light, it exhibits a unique fluorescent effect. Under ordinary lighting, these gems closely resemble peridot in color; however, when illuminated by blue light, they radiate the kind of fluorescent glow captured in the accompanying photos. Do you think this concept makes for a good choice?

What do you think about wearing lab grown YAG gemstones?

I’ve crafted this pair of YAG and titanium alloy flat-back stud earrings. YAG short for Yttrium Aluminum Garnet is a synthetic material that was originally developed for use as an industrial scintillator; it exhibits a unique fluorescent effect when exposed to blue light. In ordinary lighting, the stones resemble the color of peridot, but under blue light, they glow with the fluorescent effect shown in the photos. Do you think this is a cool idea?

Are titanium flat back earrings a relatively niche choice?

I’ve recently heard several friends recommending jewelry made of titanium alloy; its hypoallergenic properties are always impressive, and they tell me it’s quite trendy right now. But are that many people really starting to opt for titanium earrings? Previously, I assumed this material was primarily preferred by those with multiple ear piercings since they often purchase them at tattoo parlors but would people with only a single pair of piercings like titanium earrings as well? Or would they still tend to prefer earrings made of silver or gold?

If you enjoy spicy and numbing flavors, this tossed noodle dish is definitely worth a try. You can easily make it at home; all you need are crayfish, garlic, and Sichuan peppercorns. Alternatively, you can simply use a ready-made spicy hot pot base to prepare it. It’s very simple!
