Anyone need one? I love my printed 3dp riser and have no intention of using the one that came with the Qidi box. First response can have it as long as you reimburse my shipping to you. I'm sure it won't be much, I'll ship it and trust you to pay me back. I figured otherwise this post will look like an attempt to scam. I just have it sitting here and don't want to throw it out.
Has anyone updated to this firmware? I just updated it yesterday and today I noticed that i cant run the dry;er function on the qidi box without unloading the filament. No more drying while printing? Why would they take a backwards step? The ui is different too. Not too happy right now.
Icarus grip module. Norsso slide. Radian ramjet comp. Very few OEM rxm parts on this build.
I got a chance to use the cool plate with some polymaker pla metallic plum. I figure a purple print for a purple plate 😁. Bed temp set at 35c and it seems to be performing well 👍
Just wanted to share that I received my cool plate for the max 4. Nice to see some options finally for this big girl 😁
I was originally doubting the legitimacy of this build plate having not seeing it advertised anywhere and only finding it on eBay but here it is!!!
My 43x build using the ScFree 43x by aa13 firearms. I'm using p80 pf9ss rails. They are getting scarce to find but if anyone needs to find some lmk in the comments and I'll tell you where they are still available for a really decent price. I prefer them because of the stainless front rail/locking block over the typical aluminum ones available. I think there is a company that makes stainless dd43.1 rails but they are pricey.
Just finished putting this build together. OEM Glock 43x slide. Osight se rmsc green optic (slept on. Love this thing. It's my 2nd one). Radian ramjet. Tlr7hlx sub light. Micro dagger magazine with +2 mag extension. Nvoke mag release and slide release. Tyrant CNC slide lock/release. OEM trigger housing with over travel stop set screw. +50 trigger return spring with reduced striker safety spring and reduced striker spring. NDZ one piece recoil assembly with ismi 15lb spring. Rails polished to a mirror shine along with OEM trigger bar and minus connector. Stock OEM plastic irons, I'm going to get some better sights on it in the near future. eBay tyrant CNC knock off magwell. I had to do some Dremel work to put the magwell on but it turned nice.
Printed in Jayo pa6-cf on my Bambu x2d with asa support interface. Turned out just immaculate.
The trigger feels amazing. No over travel. Light with a firm reset. I haven't taken it to the range yet but will be doing so shortly 👍

I found this on ebay and Im hoping its not a typo and is actually for the plus 4. The reason I say that is because I cant find it on the actual Qidi store. If it is for the max 4 I thought Id share it!!
I use orca primarily for my printers. I use it for my Q2 and I see a button to sync filaments from the Qidi box. I dont have that option when I use Orca for my Max 4. Is it available for the max 4? Or am I just missing something.
One other question. I have never had an issue sending prints to my printers from Orca, but with my Max 4 Id say only about 1 in 10 will start printing when I send straight from Orca. Otherwise I get some type of error but the file will be uplaoded to the printer, I just have to start the print from the printer. Has anyone else experienced this?
just in case anyone wasn't aware, the handle for the door and glass lid are the same size as the Bambu h2 series of printers. The screws are bigger though. There are a bunch of existing handle designs for the h2 series and I used 2 different ones for my max 4. Just wanted to put that out there. Although the max 4's handles are pretty decent, I just like customizing my printers 👍
I had a clog on my max 4. I was printing petg-cf for a riser for the max 4. It clogged the .4 nozzle. I'm thinking possibly heat creep? I thought I had cleared it and restarted the print only to see that it barely did the first layer on one of four parts. I tried again to clear it but this time with no success. So I went to pull the nozzle so I could try a cold pull or swap the nozzle. When I used the wrench to remove the nozzle the silicone sock crumbled into pieces. Qidi support says it's because I went from a lower temp to a higher temp but that doesn't jive with me at all. It is always going to go from low to high when you heat it up. I print with filaments like pps-cf where I use 350c. So what then? They are going to send me 2 silicone socks but how long will those last? Anyone else experience this with their silicone sock?
