Can we talk about real kicks/releases?

Finally picked one up yesterday and toyed around with it a bit last night - seemed to work fine but didn’t go too in depth with it. Today, fired it up to get more into the weeds and noticed a few things; the pads weren’t lit up at all when pressing certain buttons (as indicated they would be on the tutorial videos I watched) and it only had one pad bank loaded with factory samples instead of the multiple it should have had.

I decided to update the firmware but couldn’t get the website to load. Followed the instructions of plugging into USB, restarting the device and trying again. No dice. Tried again with the ip address instead and no luck again. Downloaded the installer file and tried to load the sample in updater mode. It turned on but not in updater mode, even though i was holding mute + chop + sample select. When I tried to turn it off again, I go the prompt asking me if I want to shut down but the yes button didn’t do anything. I was stuck at this screen and decided to hold down the power button to turn the unit off. Now, it turns back on but no buttons, pads or knobs do anything at all the it appears to be completely bricked.

Anyone else experienced this?

There’s def gonna be a full update in a couple weeks right?

The videos posted seems pretty meh…Dyed, Alexander Sckanke and Cap brought the heat…but everything else seems mid AF

I wonder if Dyed will have the best set their two Sunwaves in a row?

Gastrophetes and the Artemis bow….these things just don’t wanna spawn for me

I switched to the 4x speed (which i don’t like)…i’ll revert it back to normal once i get these

They are both in the same area which is the first area entering from Tchita Uplands

I stopped going after the other chests…yesterday i got

* two thief’s caps
* two antares
* holy rod and a blood sword

it’s like the game is laughing at me so i’m done with the neighboring chests

the ice cloud arrows chest i only got once but i have 2 archers

the artemis bow i just want (i have 2 tufts of artemis arrows which was fairly easy to farm there), i did snag 2 sagittarius which literally felt like forever…i even got ultima blade and i don’t even have a knight

i started chaining bangaa theives…but realizes it was pointless because the only rare thing they drop is feystones…which i can steal from the undin entite, but a rare steal from them is a trident…which has ice damage attached…u can one shot the bandercouerls with bravery cuz they are weak to ice…also with sagittarius and the ice cloud arrows…a decent XP farm if i only use one character

u can also one shot the silver lobos with the sagittarius/artemis arrow combo because the artemis arrows have the dark effect, but chaining them doesnt really net anything special

cerobi definitely rewards for grinding, but cmon…i really want gastrophetes…ill worry about the other areas later…i also want fomaulhaut

I still haven’t even gotten to archades yet lol
