PTAC unit replacement cost
The compressor on one of our PTAC A/C units died sometime back, and our homeowner warranty company is covering $3k out of the $5k total cost for the full unit replacement (basically, ~$2k out of pocket).
Does anyone know if this cost is about in line for NYC? Any recommendations on vendors for cheaper?
