Would you commission me? I'm learning, but I learn fast.

Hi there!

As well as with many many people around, my dream is to work with art. But I'm a software developer, at least until now ^_^

Long story short: since I was a child, due to health conditions, my hands trembled - a lot! And could never be satisfied with my results, but finally after so many years, I got myself a drawing tablet, so I could try my hand again (think of a high stabilizer set all the time lol)

So... I wanna ask: would you commission something with this quality? Or do I have a loooong journey ahead before even thinking about this?

Since I'm new to this, I was thinking of something like this:

  • Icon/Avatar - $20
  • Headshot - $35
  • Bust up - $40
  • Half char - $45
  • Full pose - $60
  • Scenery add on (nothing too complex, I still have much to learn) - +10
  • Additional pet/creature/char + $15 (small) / $25(bigger)

Fanart, OC, Furry, Unusual styles: I'm hyped to try many things!

What do you guys think?

Hi there!

I really never worked with art, but this is a passion of mine, and as such, I'd love to be able to earn a living (or a little help) through it.

I've been studying for some time, and would like some advice here, if you guys don't mind:

Are these good enough so I could start offering commissions?

If no, what should I focus on to get better?

If yes, how much should these be priced? I really have no idea!

So, I'm new to WN, but see you guys talking about writing and posting everyday, contracts, no views until contracted and so on.

This is my first time writing, have 15 chapters with over 23k words so far published. But... what should I do at this point?

Just keep writing until something magically happens if the story is good?

Click on that ominous button to apply for contract?

Something else entirely?

I'm a little lost here, honestly. Any direction would be appreciated.
