Cherry was first. Lemon was second.

Now strawberry 🍓

Same process — 3D model in Blender,

resin printed master, 10 Shore A silicone mold.

The seed texture was the most challenging part —

hundreds of tiny indentations that all need

to transfer cleanly into the wax.

Second photo is the full burn.

Red wax pooling on white ceramic —

didn't expect it to look this dramatic 🔥

What fruit should be next?

This is what happens when the wick is slightly

undersized in a shaped mold.

With a standard jar you just check the diameter

and pick from a wick chart. But with organic shapes

like this lemon the geometry changes as it burns —

the widest point isn't always where the flame is.

Soy wax makes tunneling worse compared to paraffin —

narrower melt pool.

Going up one wick size on the next pour and

testing from there.

For those pouring into shaped or sculptural molds —

how do you approach wick selection?

Do you test multiple sizes or calculate

from the widest point?

Made this mold myself — 3D printed master,

poured in 10 Shore A silicone.

Couldn't stop watching it burn. There is something

unexpectedly meditative about watching a sculpted

face slowly disappear into wax.

First photo is early in the burn, last one is

almost nothing left.

Have you ever documented a full burn on a

sculptural candle?
