Setting default CRS for new projects
Working in Northern Virginia, I am unable to set EPSG:2283 as default for new projects in Settings/Options/Coordinate Reference System. Receive this error message:

Try changing the CRS definition to a WKT format instead.
Is this common? I see no apparent way to change to WKT format. QGIS allows setting the project CRS to 2283 in the Project Properties/CRS window, and works with no problems. Just apparently doesn't like accepting 2283 as the default. Thanks for any suggestions or confirmation that it is what it is.
