Living with parents vs moving out

Hello, I'm 29F, single, and still living with parents as my parents have a house in San Francisco. I do work within the downtown area and the city is so small that I feel like I'm essentially moving out a few miles and paying someone else rent instead of my parents (and my parents are not super well off).

While I do get along with my parents and it is been super comfy to live at home, I feel this may get a little into the way of dating life and being independent. My medium goal is to buy a house in San Francisco.

Posting here to gather some perspectives from fellow Redditors and how do you navigate through adult life while living with parents. Thanks!
