Mileage Question
I’ve got a 2013 se, manual transmission, that I’ve had since 80k. Shoutout to the repo in Nashville for making my first car dreams come true. I’ve had it now for 9 years and I’ve got it up to 180k. I love it and I’m planning on driving it until it quits on me.
That said, my commute is about to double next year or so from 70 miles/day to 150/day. I’ve been blessed to avoid most major issues, with only the catalytic exhaust manifold quitting on me so far. That said:
Is 250k a reasonable expectation after driving the car pretty gently for the past 5 years? Living in a pothole filled area for the past few years probably shot my suspension but not to the point of needing replacement (yet).
I’ll need to prep for a new car soon, but I’m trying to get a rough estimate of how long I have.
I’ll cry when this car hits its end…
