Looking for a specific type of amnesia plot
Please excuse any strange typos. I just took my sleep medication and my typing gets funny. But I had this on my mind and need to ask out in the universe first.
Most amnesia tropes I see are like
* Character A wakes up in bed with Character B and apparently they are married. Sometimes B is a stranger to A. Other times B is a known rival/enemy of A. Chaos ensures.
* Plot arc in the middle of a story where one character suddenly loses their memories and everyone works together to solve them.
The type of fic I am looking for is a third type that I don't see super often (primarily in manhwa so far) (if it has a specific trope name please lmk)
** The couple fell in love but were separated in some way before character A got amnesia. They remain separated for a good length of time. Usually there are people who are trying to keep them apart who don't want A to recover their memories of be around B. Also B has some sort of reason to not just directly tell A that they once knew each other. But A is drawn to B anyway and usually starts getting flashes of memories of returning. Then when full memories return, usually a scandal is discovered and the couple work to take down the people who tried to keep them apart.
Does anyone know any fics similar to this? Happy with all m/m and f/f ships. Angst is fine but I prefer a happy ending.
